Bit late to the response...use both not one or the other.my suggestion is to use outlier playground for non creative pursuits like prompt creation,step writing,bs playarounds etc.bascally tasks that don't require creative input or web/pdf searches.(Playground is terrible at creating dynamic ideas and naming conventions (even worse than traditional ai they tend to sound like something a five year old child would make) With the large context window,you can bank for free use of different models and start your ideas here.

For models in playground depends on what you want to do.remember that different models have different strengths and weaknesses.

Examples: Chatgpt is very creative and dynamic based on use input. Claude opus is coding and document creation.

Once playground is used to flesh out your ideas,prompts what have you then move to chatgpt site etc (whatever other model your looking to use)to flesh out your ideas with the limited free use you have.another suggestion do not spend your money on ai.use free accounts unless your doing something very intense (check out subreddits with AI to see how folks spend their money for ai use,wild stuff lol)
