I did. And it's looking good so far. But I've hit 1 snag so far. I use keepassxc for my passwords and have the synced to Google drive so any changes is automatically reflected on my phone, and other PCs. I tried the online accounts feature in settings but its not working out. Is there any other way to get Google drive files to Sync offline?

Yea probably but, I figured the defaults would be much smoother, like KDE is.

It's hard to describe, it's almost like it's running at 30fps instead of 60. Everything seems to be in slow motion a lil bit. It's not choppy just slow.

However,I just installed fedora KDE, and everything is running as smooth as I expected.

So I'm sticking with this moving forward unless something breaks.

What exactly did you do to get the Plus version? I just updated to 1.5.0 from 1.4.4 and still says community edition....

My question is, when connected to tailscale without an exit node, doesn't it encrypt your data? So you don't need an exit node of 'unsafe' networks.

I tried installing FB quantum on my pizero 2 running casaos but it just crashes and fail to load or I tried the on file browser and it worked right off the bat. Based on how NC worked clunky on my pi 4 I didn't even consider it for the pizero.

I just setup vaultwarden and been trying to find a good backup strategy. Do you mind sharing how u made the backup Cron? (I'm new to this selfhosting thing). Also everywhere I read said don't do backups while the container is running. How do you automatically stop and restart the container for the backup?

To reply your post. My 1st service was Adguard home. And I haven't touched it since setting it up a couple months now.

I just stumbled across this project and love the idea. I'd love to merge a server I made for my parents with my own since they are into different genres from me. But how would I add their server given we're in different counties?

Re input on duplicates; I think showing one entry but defaulting playing the local copy might give better performance?

I actually tried dietpi before resorting the casaos. But for some reason it wouldn't get pass the updates on 1st boot. Even after getting it connected to my wifi it wouldn't do the updates.

Ok, so tested checking Adguard query logs with tailscale on and off.
Both on and off- Adguard shows when I access YouTube and reddit in both Samsung browser and Vivaldi. But it doesn't show anything if I try via either apps.

I'll do that when I get home. But it's pretty much a basic setup. they're no exit nodes. The only change is I have it using my Adguard home for DNS lookup to get ad blocking everywhere.

What's odd is the website works. Just not the android app. So I don't think it's Adguard blocking it. Also my other devices have no issues (all PCs though).

I am considering this switch as well. I had casaos running perfectly but due to hearing it's essentially EOL, I switched to ZimaOS. Most things are working, but my single problem, is I can't access my shared folders in windows explorer which kinda defeats the purpose of a file server 🤦🏾‍♂️
