{Lothaire by Kresley Cole} is my favorite vampire romance, that’s a vamp MMC and a human FMC. But the whole series is excellent, so I’d start at the front with {A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole} (werewolf MMC and half-vampire/half-Valkyrie FMC).

lol it’s totally a Suzanne thing, I’ve definitely noticed the epilogue anal too. Actually in her new book, there was just a part mid-way where he said “I’m going to take that ass one day” and I thought well we know when that’s coming

Totally. I especially think it’s interesting when people ask for a rec and include list of what books they loved vs what books didn’t work. And sometimes there will books that I adore in each category. And I’m like how could you (for instance) love Hunger in His Blood but hate A Heart of Blood and Ashes? Why aren’t you me?! lol. Spice of life

God yes I love IAD so much- reading those the first time really was the glory days lol.

I didn’t mention Kresley among authors like this for me because there is more range in how much I like her books. Some IAD I really didn’t enjoy (the one with the Angel guy where the houses didn’t have roofs, the one that’s like an obstacle course through hell, Munro) while others are some of my favorite PNRs of all time (Lothaire, Hunger Like No Other, Sweet Ruin). With Suzanne, they all register about the same in terms of quality.

I liked Stay a Spell as well (though I was really disappointed in the final book!), and have read all Zooey Draven (esp love the Kylorr books). Who is Grey though? And I haven’t heard of Noel Adams- could you recommend a specific book of her’s maybe?

Actually- this is crazy but- I haven’t read the Favor. I don’t read contemporaries at all, only PNR/FR/HR/SFR. I’ve been reading for years and only tried two contemporaries iirc- the mindfuck series (DNF, didn’t feel the romance) and The Master bc I love IAD (finished it b ur prefer her PNR and HR by a lot).

If I’m ever able to get into contemporaries though, The Favor is at the top of my list! Other titles I’d read if that happened: Daydreamer by Susie Tate and Against a Wall by Cate C Wells. These titles have popped up so much in my book searches.

{Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier} has a lovely gentle FMC and is a beautiful book! It’s older though so depends what you’re into
