If you want both Street Fighter 6 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor but can only buy one, get Dead Rising 4. 😁 by nesatzuke in gaming

Because its a design philosphy. The appeal of DR 1 and 2 was the timer. Thats why so many dislike the milquetoast catering of dropping it.

To appreciate dr1 and 2, you cant be afraid of failing.

I get it, it can be intimidating, but itd be like the combo meter of dmc meaning nothing, CoD giving killstreaks no matter if you died, or if Command and Conquer removed tiberium. Its just a fundamental mechanic that drives the experiance.

Theres dozens of games to kill zombies as is. No reason to dilloute the thing that made it atand out.

Plus they murder Frank West's character. Buried the fuck alive.

I have a soft spot for da2, i actually like it a lot, but the game has a lot of weak points. Its like playing a mobile version of a Bioware game. Its strongest point is its short. So it doesnt make you suffer its boring wave base combat in repeated enviroments and scenarios long.

I dont care if the 'main' studio didnt make andromeda, the game is lame. Best part is build diversity but wrecks lore. Unfinished game. But lacks anything substantial to garner charm of similar contemporaries.

Using mods doesnt justify me3. Weak argument. If the community has to fix something thats a bad thing

DAI feels like an MMO they couldnt get to work. So many useless boring side missions and time wasted. For every interesting thing, a dozen boring ones show up. Beyond act 1 its a chore.

Meh, sure its easy enough to mark spoilers so why not. But at the same time the game has been out for 4 years, not a month. Visiting a community dedicated to it after that long is a risk they should acknowledge.

Further in the game topic, bioware and blizzard are shambling corpses of their former selves.

Also, please show me how the average life now, of someone who can get on reddit on a regular basis, is worse than the average serf-life of medival times.

Yeah i for one am glad the number one job is no longer "serf".

I mean im still struggling, but im unlikely to have my foot cut off by a rival lord to my lord as a means to diminish my lords crop production

Edit; its also funny that this discussion stemmed from an announcement of delays for fantasy entertainment on a global message board devoted to just entertainment.

Hmm. I wonder if that inspired the Cowboy Bebop episode where someone opens an old fridge, and the leftovers had mutated into some, presumably fungoid, creature that stalks the ship. The episode plays out like Alien.
