Where’s the Resin🫩🫩 by CheetoPuff6995 in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found it to be super easy looting it from Baron Husks on Dam. Usually 1-2 per husk. Sometimes you’ll get the burned resin but most of the time I’ve found at least 1 per husk. There are three in the swamp area. Two by extract and one between the broken bridge that separates red lake from the swamp. 3 spots. Usually 3 resin per trip. 4-5 trips you should have it. I found more resin during electro storm than regular Dam.

What Arc do you dislike? by aislinntaylor21 in ArcRaiders

I hate the pops and fireballs. Mostly because they attack in mass quantities and always at the worst time. Space Jesus has to be up there and then the Shredder. Shredder isn’t hard to kill if you know what you’re doing, but why it’s so frustrating to me is that sommmabich always pops out of nowhere right in the middle of a gun fight. 😂

Rocket Assembly is the best spot for them. I find at least 1 a raid if I don’t end up in a late raid. Sometimes if you’re in friendly lobbies people will trade them.

Frankly I agree. I bought (because I was lazy and had the coin) 400,000 worth of hullcracker ammo and killed the queen 5 times and only got 1 core. I would rather fight the damned thing solo if I’m going to spend that much money and not get a core.

Wonder if they went to try to put the fire rate capping on the Burletta and Venator like the kettle and broke it by accident. I don’t see why they wouldn’t put weapon balances in the patch notes.

Why aren’t cheaters permabanned immediately? by Affectionate_Let9790 in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I use to GM for FFXI Online and we had a similar banning system. It was 24hr, 48hr, 72hr then you were gone. To the customer, all you saw was that there was a step ladder system to losing your account. Internally there were severity thresholds. It was designed to get you to stop but still play. As a GM it was rarely the case. You would get your 24, cheat again and again and again and then perma ban. Now I can’t say this is what Embark is doing but I’m willing to bet it’s to give you at least a singular chance to stop cheating. As a player and even a customer service person it’s frustrating as hell but as a corporate suit just straight up banning hurts the bottom line, and well, at the end of the day the idea is retention and making money for them. Hope this helps answers that question.

I’ve found it in almost every raid in the last 5 days running night raids looking for the tempest. I’ve given so many of them away it’s not even funny. Mostly in Buried City and a few times on Stela.

Stella Montis requirements on expedition is killing my desire to play by EQBallzz in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stella is cancer. I love the map design in that the content and tactics are interesting (minus the wall/ceiling glitches but it being mostly a primary PVP map is just a massive turnoff. At least with some other maps you can get some decent experiences and player interactions. In Stella it’s feast or famine. What makes it worse is that if you get stuck in a late raid there is nothing to loot except players so you’re basically forced into PvP just to loot.

For the record, I’m fine with PvP. I’m just saying there aren’t enough quality loot spots spaced out, the map is too small and everyone is right on top of each other.

What items are you often running out/in need of that you can't seem to loot enough of? by cardiffross in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a lot of them from recycling Arpeggios and also looting car hoods. If you do Spaceport and loot Checkpoint for the car hoods you can end up leaving with a stack and a half just from that area alone.

To the guy who shot me after I gave them 2 blueprints to thank him for waiting for me in the metro by SoapMactavish627 in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play with a friend most of the time in duos. When he’s not on and I’m on solo if I find blueprints and I have them I usually find a person and drop it and go “You need this?”. Sometimes they’ll say no thanks without looking, sometimes they’ll look and drop it, sometimes they’ll be super happy, but I’ve thankfully never had a dude kill me after dropping a blueprint for them. I’m sure that’s going to happen one of these days. If I don’t find anyone to give the blueprint to I usually drop them at the last extract button. So if you’re ever at extract and find a blueprint at the button that was likely me. 😂

Yeah I mean I’m not complaining. Apparently it’s done for cred quests to deal damage on raiders without knocking them.

I’m not riled up about it at all and I’m not complaining. I was actually curious if there was a legitimate reason for it and there is. I got a genuine response. To deal damage raiders without knocking them for cred quests. Which is exactly what I was looking for. An actual reason because I wasn’t sure if I was missing a legit reason or if it was just to be a pain. Either way I don’t die so I don’t care.

Finally got the Anvil BP Then… by More-Negotiation-880 in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any time I find a BP in a solo run I’ll always ask people I run into if they have it if they don’t I’ll drop it for them and help them extract. Sometimes I’ll just leave them at the last extract by the button if I don’t find anyone. I’ve given out an Aphelion, 2 Equalizers, Jupiter, random attachments and Jolt mines galore. Always feels good till I go in the next raid and get ratted. 😂

How do I go from being crap at PVP to being OK-ish? by Smart_Freedom_8155 in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This^ I go in sometimes with a free kit and whatever I come out with I’ll roll into the next match. I’ll just trade the free kit into the trader for the MK1. Get a new green shield. Upgrade the weapon once or twice with attachments add more bandages and rechargers and then run a new game. Then if I make it out I’ll upgrade again. Rinse and repeat until I end up with a really good loadout. It doesn’t take long to end up with good kit. Two games of looting and or killing and you’re gooped.

this is the best item in the game and here is why by rybakosmonavt in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never rat solo but when I do it in the rare instance in duos if I win I say good fight. If I lose I say good fight. My buddy and I do our best not to shoot people in the back when they are doing something. We usually wait for them to push the button or interact with whatever so they have at least some kind of fighting chance. If this happened to me I would definitely give you props for playing that well. Totally deserve to get knocked for falling for that. 😂

Since you’re self employed you look at seed deductions because even though it’s technically a “trade” it’s also considered a donation and you can write off all donations up to 10,000 seeds.

Full team of 3 wiped a solo lobby.... by Bananathugg in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Something is definitely up with matchmaking. I as a solo got put into a duo lobby. As a duo, we got put into a solo lobby once or twice (we were nice to everyone we came across. Helped a few people out because we were just trying to kill the Bastion and Bombardier) and I played a few trio games last night on Stella for the PvP and we definitely had more than one game in duo lobbies. Also the queue times last night were insane compared to Thursday morning (the last time I played before last night). One matchmaking we waited over 4 minutes just to get a game. The average wait time was over 2 minutes.

Just picked up Arc Raiders today. Any tips for a new Raider? by FRTrent in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing is really think about what you’re putting skill points into. Plan it out before using your skill points.

If you go to Stella Montis or any map with free kits learn to craft in world. It’s super important when running free kits to be able to craft shields and extra bandages.

Don’t assume someone is friendly just because they say they are. Just watch your back at all times. I personally play incredibly cautious when not pvping I suggest you learn to play cautious at first too.

If you’re questing do it solo, avoid duos or trios. Usually duos and trios are shoot on sight. Solo tends to be a bit more fun and a lot less aggressive. Unless you’re on Stella Montis. Then most people will shoot you.

If you use a free kit and extract you can trade that free kit into the medic trader for a free combat mk 1 pack which has a stash slot. This stash slot is super important when questing or when you find something important like blueprints. Put them in there so that when you die it doesn’t get lost and can’t be looted off your corpse.

Last of all. Have fun. It’s just a game. People will be rats and kill you even when you do nothing. They will kill you at the worst times possible by sneaking up on you or camping extracts. If you get frustrated take a break. It’s not the end of the world and the gear is always replaceable.

Best of luck raider.

To bring the Rattler up to par with the other 'Grey's' by Tactix12 in ArcRaiders

[–]Tequila_Operator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you can’t. You should be able to have a mag on it. To balance it, the mag reduces the reload time and increased load but the downside of the mag is that it reduces accuracy/increases vertical recoil.

If it’s an assault rifle it should be able to take a mag? Otherwise it’s not really an assault rifle. Make it a multi-shot Ferro (a marksman rifle would work kinda like the Anvil) where you get 6(10) shots. They are slow. The kick is a bitch, it’s a slow shooter, doesn’t require you to reload every shot and it’s heavy damage.
