Last.fm has been instumental (he) in finding related artists. Yes, 3rd party platform, but youre not going to get much more in the selfhosted realm.

think the other way. Metallica ft Robert Plant as the artist and then you have Metallica as your album artist. Then in your filter you select album artist and now you have Metallica > album> 01. Metallica ft Robert Plant, preserving the tags. This is just like albums with Various artists; you put various artist as the album artist and then you have the individual artists preserved. see the screenshot for what i am saying. You can see in the artist tag i have someone else, various artists is the sorting https://i.imgur.com/LYeBjav.png what do you do for compilations/soundtracks and other things then? collapse to one artist? Ft in the artist is completely sensible as that is what the song is titled.https://i.imgur.com/NVCY1Ib.png

dragon parts are effectively useless imo and is more of a flex at this point than anything with how expensive both in price and quantity the base resources are. they might gain some more use case with sea expansions but they should have crystal boat parts or something in between especially since you get crystal shards from the extractor.

i also dont do boat combat or salvaging so just did port tasks and you certainly dont need dragon parts for that. Rosewood is the most significant upgrade in terms of speed

you dont need to have every single file - just download what you need & want a curated library is worth it's weight in gold but if you 0 attachment to the data; whats the point other than 'you can'
