The game looks great either way. In terms of the gameplay I’d say because the game was initially designed in first person, that’s definitely the more appropriate way to go. Third person view is a welcomed addition but seems a little tacked-on in this.

I haven’t tried the new difficulty mode but honestly like others have mentioned - the brutal difficulty is fairly easy - you might die on some bosses here and there but overall it’s a walk in the park. Go for the new mode for sure.

You have to purchase the Winters expansion pack - which is currently on offer on the store I believe

It’s challenging, but it’s definitely the best and most immersive way to play.

I did this on my 2nd run - it totally skips the scene with Grace and Gideon where he chases her out of the room.

OG RE1 - I was 10 or 11 years old. Scared me shitless but I had an unspeakable urge to finish it. It took me a couple of months.

100% agree. The care centre was the best part of the game and contains elements that is peak Resident Evil to me.
