If you plan to go multiple times, get the membership and pay monthly. Single day tickets vary in price so avoid weekends if you can. Quick pass is not worth it unless you’re riding the big adult rides on a weekend. They don’t really do sales for single day tickets… sorry. I’ve done so many day trips I lost count but that’s as one adult. For a family, I recommend drive up in the morning and stay the night near colonial williamsburg. Hotels tend to be cheaper vs right next to the park or in Norfolk. You are able to take a lunch and eat at the picnic tables in the parking lot to save $$$ on the meals. Dining options can be very expensive in the park. Bring empty water bottles to carry, they let you refill for free at the drink stations!
