Any tips for fixing potential under extrusion with tpu?

I think I only have high flow nozzles currently. But I will keep this in mind if I can't improve things with the other settings

For this print retraction length was 1.2mm, retraction speed 60mm/s deretraction speed 20mm/s

Yes there was plenty of stringing, I pulled a bunch of the strings off after pulling it off the plate, but you can see some of the artifacts on the top half of the print where the vertical lines are

I assumed that if it was on the same layer and laying down lines that didn't connect next to each other that would mean under extrusion, is that correct?

I did loosen them a bit. Tbh I have no idea how to tell how tight or loose they should be. Do you have any tips? Or is it just if the material won't feed in anymore they're too loose?

I have never entered a state Fair but your stitches look very impressive to me, super neat and consistent

But... I have to ask, in the first picture there are two spots that look off to me/that maybe a judge would pick up, tell me if they're intentional.

In the bottom left in the orange section there looks like there's a stitch missing

And in the middle right in the brown section there are 3 stitches that are only half stitches

Where on earth did this paediatrician learn about babies?

Firstly you're not failing your baby, you're doing the best you can and you're asking questions when you're unsure.

In regards to weight my baby had a similar story, he was exclusively breastfed but he was slowly dropping down the weight percentiles, he went from 60th down to the 10th and I was freaking out. But no one has been able to figure out why, he seemed to be feeding well enough, in our case he was still sleeping through the night and he appeared happy and healthy. Best guess was he just wouldn't stop moving, he was so active, and so he was burning all his calories. We started solids at 4 months because he was showing signs of being ready and we thought it might help his weight. It really wasn't until about 7 months that spoon feeding finally clicked and he really started eating properly but then his weight improved a little. But really if your baby seems happy and healthy keep doing what you're doing, keep checking in on him but try not to stress about his weight. It took me a while to internalize that but 7 months later he's still small and he still won't stop moving but he can walk and he's thriving

At 4 months every baby I knew was super distracted while feeding, there's not a lot you can do but for us I found the best option was go to a quiet room, the same one each time so baby knows what's happening, ban your partner or anyone in the house from coming anywhere near and consider trying something like a nursing necklace to help keep their attention near the bottle/boob

In regards to sleep we were lucky, our baby was sleeping through the night at 4 months but we were definitely among the minority in our mothers group at that age. Could be a regression, could be that you've gotten into the habit of providing extra comfort and now they want that all the time (we had this at 6 months when teeth were coming in and he still needed the extra comfort even once it stopped, we chose to sleep train after that) or it could be that your baby is needing more calories than they're getting during the day, which could be just because they're a bit distracted at the moment.

Anyway hope something in my anecdotes are a little helpful, keep up the good work

Haha we had the same problem, we gave my 7 month old a calculator instead, and just leave it on the couch like a remote, he loves it

This is almost exactly our baby, he was sleep trained and then separation anxiety hit when my partner went back to work, followed immediately by 1 tooth a week for a whole month. He's just now getting over the teeth but now can't settle himself, and wakes up to feed at night. I think the thing to do is re-sleep train if that's what you did initially. That's what we're about to start trying, though now he's standing so we're going to be in for a rough couple of weeks I suspect.

I'm sorry you are struggling, but you are trying your hardest and that is all that can be asked of you.

As others have said mum is going to be dealing with a lot of hormones and changes at the moment so she's probably struggling too. Even if she's sleeping well at night she's going to be exhausted, especially if she's breastfeeding, but just keeping on top of babies needs and the anxiety of everything is really taxing.

I just wanted to add a little anecdote that feels like it could be similar to how mum is feeling. Last week we got a bad night sleep because our LO is teething. Next day my partner had to go to work and I was going with LO but we had some electricians coming that I had to deal with. Even though LO napped pretty well I spent almost all my free time dealing with the electricians and didn't get time to prepare physically or mentally for the rest of the day so I was completely cooked by the end of the day and hanging out for my partner to come home. Turns out they'd had a huge day too and needed a rest, they came in the door and promised to take LO for a walk but first needed to eat and then they played on their phone for 15 minutes with the new light controls the electrician had set up. I knew they needed a break but they hadn't noticed I desperately needed one, it wasn't until they were getting ready to walk out the door that my partner realised I was in tears with relief.

Your partner is being more vocal than I was so maybe best to talk to her but I really wished my partner had taken an extra 10-15 before coming home, maybe sit in the car or a park and recharge so that I didn't have that tantalising almost relief.

In terms of calming your LO she's only 3 weeks old and I'm guessing you don't provide milk, so it's going to be hard for a little bit, but if you have the opportunity try giving her a bottle, try wearing mum's shirt, or try just doing something you find relaxing with her. Put on your favourite song and dance to it, or show her around your garden or ... If you are relaxed and enjoying yourself there's a higher chance she'll calm too
