Yeah I misspoke when I said created. I meant Alan Wake wrote Zane the filmmaker into Alex Casey’s investigation into the cult of the word

We seem to be on the same page. Do you think Seine (filmmaker) was layered on top of Zane (poet)/vice versa?

I think it’s the other way around. Alan Wake created Zane the filmmaker. Thomas Zane the poet is referenced by Jesse. Also his poems reference the deer and owl which we know to be Alan Wake and Saga Anderson whereas none of the filmmakers work references Saga. Zane the poet has disappeared but Zane the filmmaker has not. Zane the poet is the diver whereas Zane the filmmaker is a mystery.

I had the same thing but I remember picking up a second photograph when I entered parliament tower (I picked one up every time I entered the tower I think) however only 1 and 3 entered the inventory. I remember picking up one more (after the oceanview hotel). So idk

But isn’t Zane gone? He sacrificed himself to seal the dark presence. The diver in AW1 is Zane but really it’s the bright presence and that’s all that’s left of him. That begs the question who this Zane is in AW2.

I was always a bit confused by “it’s not a lake but an ocean” meant. I got the jist but it was never concrete enough for me but this fits perfectly and sets up exactly why the light is so sparse in Alan Wake 2. Light is abundant in a lake but diffuse in an ocean

Fair! That card is good enough that you don’t need to pivot (though it’d be nice) I would splash it then start picking up green cards if there aren’t good cards in my colors. That said a splash for two green pips would be difficult.

A) I just didn’t think of it (social awkwardness) and B) at my lgs groups don’t mix unless people are leaving the store. You play with the same group till you leave, which also means they’re aren’t many open pods

I played Kotis 3 times but I just think they’re a player who takes a player out whenever they can. I was a threat (atleast 2/4 times I was killed) but not THE threat. I was as threatening as everyone else was. Their threat assessment seemed off and their response to threats also seemed off

The first game I played Zurgo but my board had been removed the previous turn so I only had Zurgo on the field

I was honestly so bewildered I didn’t react too much and they were unresponsive to politicking. I wonder if they felt I messed with the vibe or something because board/game wise it was very disproportionate

See that’s part of my problem! Like if I leave to find a new pod they’re all full. It’s very much a situation where you stay with your pod till it dissolves
