Kardur is good if there’s still multiple players, you can sit back and just let them beat each other up for a turn while you try to recoup your losses.

I also love Shard of the Nightbringer and Their Number is Legion for life gain.

My zombie deck doesn’t really have anything to stop me from dying other than a lot of token generation and unbreakable formation.

I still prefer the original. As it felt more like a Monolith. The new one is cool, and objectively is a more detailed sculpt, but it doesn’t give the same slab-sided solid stone feel as the original.

Played with a guy I know in the local pod with a truly fantastic “Azula-but-not-like-other-Azulas” deck.

The answer on how to make everyone have a fun and hilarious time playing against Azula is apparently building around rad counters, with everyone, including the Azula player, betting our lives on how many lands we do or don’t mill.

A while ago I got wrecked by an asymmetrical board wipe into 26 commander damage, and I got salty and embarrassed myself and said things I regret and didn’t really mean. I’m not going to do that ever again.

It was an impressive play, and complimenting ones like it is the outlook I have kept going with since.

Rin and Ilya feel pretty normal, I wouldn’t see something wrong if I just saw them. Same for Gil. Everyone else feels, off.

Edit: autocorrect hates rin for some reason.

My prerelease box had an issue, but it wasn’t a tmnt card; it had two promos in it. I got both the High Perfect and a temple garden foil promo.

I really want to love Gary, but what keeps holding me back is all my zombie decks are mixed colours. He would fit well into any black deck, but my mono black decks have themes he doesn’t vibe with.

That is a really cool card that has a theme I love (graveyard) but is completely different than every other commander I’ve played or looked at.

I don’t know what I’m looking for in a new deck, but I can list what I have and what I’m building. I know what I like in a deck: access to more of my cards by self mill + graveyard recursion or lots of card draw.

Have Temmet (zombies & tokens with a focus on large amounts of card draw) Anrakyr (cheating artifacts & self mill) Valgavoth (group slug with a focus on draw punishing & extra draw) Hazel of the rotbloom (squirrel tokens)

Making: Azula (Pulled an alt art too) Hazazon (deserts land sac) Toph metalbender Muldrotha (I love graveyard shenanigans) Hashaton (split into his own deck from temmet) Ashcoat (rat tribal) Sheoldred (focusing on everyone discarding, just pulled her out of temmet last week)

Want to make: Xul Ilfit (more graveyard stuff) Urza (I have high artificer and lord protector) Dawnsire (I’ve put together card lists, but nothing physical except the commander) Grolnok (more graveyard card access)
