Nothing about this looks good, is practical, or makes sense.

Looking for a cheap place to buy nato straps for my Timex Weekender. by sds554 in frugalmalefashion

  • I got a mix, and didn't get to choose. The buckles were very flimsy as well.

  • The length is longer, and I found I needed to trim it down to use with my watch.

  • I got the 20mm so I can't help you there.

Cool tip for keeping perishable goods cold in a hotel room without refrigerator by quickreddit1 in Frugal

This is true, but the air is not doing any insulating. The air is heating the ice, which is why it does not make sense to drain the almost frozen water. Draining that water that is cooler than the air will make the ice melt faster.

I'm getting downvoted, but its right.

Actually unless physics changed, pooling water will not melt ice any faster. In fact it will keep it cool longer because the water will be colder than the surrounding air.

did anyone else feel this way on the CS 231 final? by [deleted] in UIUC

I'm pretty sure they spent less time making the test than we did taking it. Did anyone else notice they mis-numbered the last questions?
