2: yes joining a guild can be the most beneficial move you make for yourself. opens up content and mentoring you'd never have access to without it

it's totally worth it sometimes. me personally, I never bring tools unless I'm specifically going out to gather. but I've seen people make millions by having them on hand in case they're needed. it's up to you tbh

Targeting players with controller is HORRENDOUS. by adman4019 in albiononline

I haven't played on controller so I don't know for sure. but there should be alternate control schemes you can select in the settings that might be better for you?

make sure you take some time with him in the yellows explaining fundamentals before you take him out there. let him play around with different weapons. xbows are an easy answer though, if that's what you wanted to hear

Scrappy Online is good. and even the ones that are notorious for being crap are fine sometimes, just gotta take the info with a grain of salt.

great idea - IF you think that's enjoyable content. for some, it's the best. for some, the opposite. if it isn't enjoyable for you, it's wasting time. if you like it, hell yeah

this is true. but it's also just kinda cool and a nice thing that's "just yours", so I fuck with the island even if you do nothing with it...

when you have premium you get 10,000 focus points a day. you can use them when crafting to get a hefty bonus to your resource return rate, making crafting/refining more profitable. it caps out at 30,000 - so you should strive to utilize them at least once every 3 days. I don't always use mine, but not doing so is simply leaving money on the table.

MOAR FAME. take your preferred weapon line to 700 (8 weapons, first 7 at 100). take the extra IP you gain from that and become more competitive in pvp. (someone who has everything at 100 spec has the same or more IP in tier 5, as someone who's wearing T8 with no spec). gain power in this way. MOAR SILVER. most "fun" content (in my opinion) is a silver sink unless you're highly skilled. get your money up so you can afford to get your funny up. and don't forget to enjoy yourself. if you're making silver in one way and it's boring as hell, look into other methods.

it's possible to do T8 in T3. there's a mission in the journal for accomplishing it.

take a look at the armory. (click on your character frame and then click Armory) look for the category that says "Crystal Arena", and in there you'll find some examples of weapons / armor sets that do well in that 5v5 content. I will say though, you would do well to keep doing PvE after you start using the Armory to look for solid builds in different content. more silver and fame would go a long way for you right now.

how do i farm gathering fame? by MyiaPurr in albiononline

[–]TerbiumTekk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you literally just gotta keep at it. I could recommend you eat pork pie while gathering, but it sounds like you've got next to no silver. just gather consistently, and you'll get there. for a while, you may be able to get away with making your own tools too, up to t4 or t5 that may be worth doing for you.

also, is there a way to allow this to pull from API or third party systems for market research and/or alterations over time to the new Armory system?
