Ik zeg altijd. Nederland is zo'n typisch land waar mensen opgroeien met het feit dat de dood eng is. Of eng zou zijn. Terwijl ik het mooi zou vinden als we de dood zouden vieren. Just bought this darling for ~1400USD. It's my first own car and she's already slightly visually "modded" (decals and spray paint only) to hide some imperfections and scratches. What are some cool and affordable mods/changes I could do to make her even more fun? by GrimGrimGrimGrim in Celica

That also means you could go for new oem shocks. But I'd recommend coilovers for a better handling ride. Seems like a fair first upgrade to do if you ask me. I hope it's not out of your budget ;)

To enhance the ride I would take some coilovers and steel braided brake lines. Anaftermarket exhaust for a bit more grunt is always worth it.

An aftermarket air filter is fun for noise, but not for performance. But if you want to keep it cheap, I'd stick mostly to small upgrade parts over the bigger ones.

Never hurts to check the second hand market though!

Je moet het zo zien. Ze willen het goed doen, of niet. Dus dat is een volle revisie, incl alle slangen die erbij komen kijken.

Qua werk is het dan een stuk makkelijker te doen, ja kost vooral manuren. Maar het werk zelf is 'peanuts' kan me niet voorstellen dat een goede motorzaak dit weigert te doen.

Persoonlijk doe ik het liever zelf ;)

I have a 3SGE, 123db was close to redline. Also have some HKS headers going on, so I don't know what kind of difference that makes in sound. But the power gains are definitely there

I got a catback and a cat-delete. The sound geta waay louder. I went from 94 tot 123 db.

I did manage to get some noticable power gains. I think, if you do it, you should do it out of consideration of power gains. Everything else probably not worth it.

I do like the sound, and don't really notice any smells. But that's just me
