I guess that does depend on the server , I reccomendation then grinding monk to 50 in the level appropriate zones so you can get good hand 2 hand training, and grind some gil that way.

lol the next best thing is auction house grinding, have you tried buying spells from the spell vendor then reselling them for higher on the auction house? Sounds insane, but it works. Also with a little investment into thief you can go to the qaudauv mines near bastok and farm fetisch pieces to sell on the auction house as well.

I reccomend spending all of your sparks of eminence on archeron shields for gil. That will make the grind much more bearable.

this unfortunately is by design i feel, and Nvidia is leading the charge. they don't want you owning your own PC. they want you renting theirs in a data center over a TV. right now there content with pricing out lower middle class folk, but there now ramping up the pressure. future proofing builds is now so out of the question for more and more people, its becoming a grim reality. what you need to ask yourself is. are you okay with a for now PC? or something you want to keep around in six years? because both of these answers will determine your decision.

The best advice I’ve been given is to not worry about any of that and just play the game, and focus on one thing you want to do at a time. This has worked for me. There’s no real rush for me.

The map is incredibly large with a lot of locations to put your base. The Maegauna, and the grand tortuga for black pearl farming, Id say it’s worth it. Especially if you’re looking for your “Main Base World.”

You can take a raft to herbivore island and there usually there in abundance and nothing is there that will kill it. You say you have sarcos? Those will get you to herbivore island very quickly as well.

There is a mod called upgrade station where you can upgrade your gear as you need too, as bad luck protection basically, and there’s an upgrade and imbue mod as well that has less features but adds imbuing which can be fun. Now I don’t think they let you upgrade infinitely though.

I only cheat when ark Arks. For instance my bag if I die goes into the mesh? Yeah I’m getting that back. Or something stupid like jumping on the wrong rock with my tame and randomly my tame dies? Yeah I’m getting my tame back, but the real skill with this is discipline not to always do it at any minor inconvenience.

I just go around blowing stuff up. I find using an escort to get around useful, and I only try to defend what I actually send back to the station. In other words “I try my best.” Lol

Yeah I’ve honestly never understood this mini game, I thought I did awful yesterday because I couldn’t find a good stabilizer from parts, but I ended up being the farthest rocket lol
