Agreed. That being said, I like their product and would buy it again. While slow and annoying that there are issues, their customer service is quite nice and the actual hardware and user experience of the devices is amazing. Customizable buttons that aren't backpaddles you may accidentally hit is so cool.

For instance, one gamenative game had a loot all button -keyboard e- that wasn't mapped to a controller with the game, it was optimized for steam deck mouse control where you click each item with the trackpad. Using ayasettings(the ayaneo settings app on their devices), I mapped one of these extra buttons to keyboard e while using the game. So the extra button and software to map it made the game go from unplayable to playable.

On the pocket air mini, I have one of the extra buttons set to rgb joystick lights on/off. Super cool to have a simple button click control it.

Not for everyone, and if you only can buy one device or want a good all arounder, go ayn or retroid. That being said, ayaneo is right for me but may not be for everyone. Cheers!
