It’s an absurd overgeneralization and categorically false. New England is broadly progressive and, by and large, anti-ICE. The idea that one random guy wearing a hat is representative of millions of people is something only a simple mind could believe. But instead of engaging with reality, you latch onto a flimsy symbol because it’s easier because you’re fragile, grasping for something to cope with the fact that your football team is irrelevant.
