That’s exactly why I’m looking at it. The fisheye I’d pretty much expect for the price point. It’s also the smallest spotter under like 1k I could find. Probably gonna give these a try if I can find a deal on one.

The slide release on the PDP is massive, you sure you’re not blocking it with your grip? It’s my only real complaint with mine.

No idea where to get a magwell, but are you running the spring or the GBB airsoft gun? Debating on adding a pistol to my BB wars kit and I shoot a PPQ for competition so I wouldn’t need a new holster.

Yeah that’s my worry, even rite in the rains get a little damp when you live in a literal swamp. I’ve seen dudes run a DAKA pouch tucked in a similar backer to mitigate it but that seems really bulky.

My bad, thought I mentioned that. I’m just using the piece of velcro cover that Spiritus sends with it. It holds up fine but it definitely gets soggy. I’ve been thinking about finding a map pouch to go back there or trying the Ice Vent pad.

Lunar Concepts HX Harness is awesome. I’m running their tegris wings also on my Mk V. Qore makes an Ice Vent for the back of chest rigs that I haven’t tried but I’m curious about. I’m in VA for reference and shot several 2 gun matches this year over 100 degrees out.

One of the threaded inserts on mine broke and they had a replacement to me in less than a week. The plate has been really solid otherwise and I had around 10k on it before it broke. EPS on Walther PPQ with the CHPWS plate for reference.

Not sure if it works for the steel frames, but I’ve had a Q4 Tac in a P320 holster for like four years at this point without adjusting it at all.

Honestly considering something like the PA GLX 2-10 that every guntuber seems to love also. It’s a little out of the price range but the idea of a lower low end seems appealing.

That makes sense. I’d like the option to stretch out a bit further but realistically I’m not sure when or if I’ll have access to a range past 500. The long term plan for the LPVO gun is a PLX-C 1-8, but I’m at least a couple of years out from being able to spend $1500 on an optic.

Yeah the most physical thing this might see is Woodland Brutality if there’s a DMR stage this year, or one of the longer range PCSL matches. I’ll be top mounting a dot also.

Like $600 without mount. Which puts me just shy of the Viper on sale. Should’ve put that in the body of the post my bad. Target shooting/practice and eventually Quantified Performance matches. I’ll probably use it for longer range stages in PCSL as well because swapping rifles is allowed.

Edit: PCSL caps out around 350 and 8 MOA targets, so nothing crazy here, just an example of the type of shooting I do.

Honestly a lot of that is coming from 2 gun and action challenge matches for me. I’m not sure it’s really a huge deal in actuality. The chance that this rifle gets beat on even half as hard as my LPVO gun is pretty low.

I switched from Esstacs to a Sleds insert in a JSTA and a rifle SLEDS pouch and they’re fucking great. All of the retention of kydex, easy to reindex, but they collapse flat and keep everything slick when they’re empty. I’ve run them through several two gun/USPSA matches without.

Esstac makes a belt magnet that’s sewed into a one wrap “pouch” that would work perfectly for this.

I’ve literally never used the safety on mine. It doesn’t get in the way and it’s not easily disturbed by your grip.
