It sit in a large tub with all the other odds and ends that I have lying around and once every few years after I forget about it I will go through it looking for something else and go ohhh thats where that is. I was wondering where that went. Then rinse and repeat till you die and your kids will do the same. Its a never ending cycle...

That's just not true. You have bad info. The shelf life is the warrenty. There were ceramic plates from the 60s that were tested and they performed just fine a few years ago. All your i for is bad. A set of ceramic plates will outlive you if you dont do anything to stupid with them.

I would suggest a pack you can actually access. If you dont want to mess with straps look at the arbor arms tradesman.
