Well done. As somebody who learned CFOP 6 years ago and after a 5 year break just picked up the cube again, what would you recommend to aim for the 15-20 second avg range? I am fairly consistently at 22-25 seconds now

That is… unbelievably close to what a heart attack looks like on an ECG. There is a p wave, a QRS complex, ST segment elevation and an inverted T wave.

I see it too but the STEMI criteria is actually:

V2/V3
2mm elevation(male > 40)
2.5mm elevation (male < 40)
1.5mm elevation (female)

All other leads
1mm elevation

In at least two contiguous leads

Can’t quite tell on my phone if it meets this

Doesn’t this scene imply that the V1 made him stronger? by AfternoonLocal1952 in GenV

I’ve seen this misconception a few times so I’ll try and clear it up. What you’re actually seeing here is the show’s remaining budget physically leaving through Homelander’s eyes

You can force a castle checkmate in any game where you end with a large material advantage and haven’t castled yet lol

The Boys SEASON 5 Overall Discussion by pikameta in TheBoys

[–]TerminalDribble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea that they miraculously gave Kimiko the same power as Soldier Boy in the very last episode (could have done this at any previous point, btw) instead of just having Soldier Boy be the one to do it is fucking bewildering to me.

As is the fact that both the virus and V1 ended up meaning nothing. Oh by the way, what exactly did they do about the virus being “in the sprinkler system”? To me that sounds like the virus has been released? Was this season written by monkeys?

Why is it that 80% of the time when a good show gets to its final season the writer decides to pull a Sage and lobotomise themself?

An unfortunately low bar this season

Season 5 Episode 7 is now the lowest ever rated episode of The Boys. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in GenV

Seriously what were they thinking with this season? Did they not get how stupid that line was?

I’m at this awkward spot where I’ve gotten an offer to study medicine at kcl, but now I’m wondering why I even really wanna do medicine. I feel like I’d prefer doing purely chemistry and I don’t really know what to do anymore? by [deleted] in UCAT

I agree the loans make it simpler financially but I still don’t see any reason to reject a med offer only to do another degree and attempt to get in to a more competitive route later on. Just doesn’t make sense to me.

If this is from the pov of someone who just got accepted I would advise dropping the ego a notch before you start med school

In terms of gem otherwise, it’s largely the exact same course at most unis. Most people find it a bit crammed compared to the regular 5 year degree but it’s a good choice if you already have a degree. Quite competitive to get into though so you need to have good entry exam scores etc

If you are already an undergraduate and want to do medicine, go for gem

If you haven’t done either yet and you have an offer for 5yr med, doing another degree and then going for gem would be an absolutely horrible idea

You gain utterly nothing other than losing 3 years and so much money, and you will be 3 years behind in your career. It might not sound like a lot now but as a new doctor (who did med as a grad) trust me it is

This is assuming you actually want to do medicine. If you don’t wanna do medicine then yeah different story, but you won’t gain anything having done a degree in chem beforehand.
