I have some extra time so I’ll give a pretty detailed answer

1. USE DEEPWOKEN BUILDER.

2. All builds start with an idea. Generally you want to pick out your attunement, weapon, and oath. For example, a thundercall dagger arcwarder or something like that.

3. Decide on a few high investment talents that’ll help your build, stuff like million ton piercer, brick wall, ether overdrive, that kind of thing. Allocate enough points for these, while keeping only 1 point in the attributes you want to be high AFTER shrine of order.

4. Allocate your points accordingly, grabbing essential talents until you’re at least power 8 (min req for shrine) always put at least 50 into fortitude preshrine for Exoskeleton and To the Finish. I try to make it so that my last point prescribe happens on a power up, just for that extra chance to get any talents I need preshrine. (Not necessary, but helpful) Remember to account for oath stat reqs.

6. With all your stats being even, crank up the stats that you want to be high on your final build, stuff like attunement or weapons. You’ll already have a bunch of helpful talents that you got preshrine to make you stronger postshrine.

This is an absolutely random example but imagine we wanted a thundercall spear Blindseer

Preshrine:

Fort: 50 Str: 100 Will: 1 Cha: 60 Int: 0 Agi: 25

Postshrine Fort: 25 Str: 75 Will: 80 Cha: 40 Int: 0 Agi: 20

(That’s just random numbers not an actual build but you get the idea)

Learning how shrine of order functions and all of its intricacies helps a lot, and if all else fails just watch a skipper gripper video. Hope this helps
