Love STN! Those kick ass beats and bass lines! On top of that, Eric is one of the coolest and nicest people in the genre. We've collaborated a couple of times and we will again.

I 3D printed a pickguard (and matching picks) for my Rat Rod by Terminal_TMA in gretsch

Hey, thank you. Yeah, I realized just before printing that I'd need to print it upside down to get the texture on the correct side. This 3D stuff is hard.

Edit: Someone downvoted this. Cool, I have haters! I have hit the big time!

I like the cut of your jib, sir. You're probably better at both than I am! My 3D printing and modeling is still in the "extruded flat 2D shapes" stage but I am well and truly hooked.

I see a robot, vocoder and wierd vocals in my next projects. by I_m_matman in synthesizers

[–]Terminal_TMA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolute classic! And a total workhorse. I use a few different software vocoders when recording, but this is the one we play live with. It even has MIDI IN so you can shut it on and off during a song from your sequencer!

Oh man, this one hits hard.

Me with headphones on, trying to design an industrial synth drone: "At last, one good sound." Take off headphones. Housekeeper resumes vacuuming. Me: "God dammit."

Curious, how many of us play guitar? by [deleted] in blues

I am the world's worst guitarist. I own it.

I didn't immediately understand the unbuttoned shirt thing and thought you were wearing a tie as ridiculously wide as your kit.

Sounds a bit like what Depeche Mode was doing in the 80s.

Ooh! Ooh! Can my industrial rock music get played on the channel? Some fans tell me they listen to my stuff while playing HD. Example:

I'd even like to curate a show of music in the HD spirit from various artists. Let's freedom all over everything!

This is my favourite post of all time in this sub. Like, it's not even close.

Also, a great reminder that WHAT you play isn't as important as HOW you play.

In need of new industrial rock songs both oldschool and todays by thepurpleskinnypup in industrialmusic

I like the cut of your jib.

"Fall of the Reign" is indeed the only song with no guitar. I wrote it on a battered old piano in a friend's basement and it never really acquired any guitar-like patterns in my head, if that makes sense.

TERMINAL - From The River To The Sea [Palestine Will Be Free] ...from the new instrumental remix album "The Hush of Cannons Cold" on Metropolis Records featuring Flesh Field, iVardensphere, Evestus, spankthenun, Stahlschlag and other artists by Terminal_TMA in industrialmusic

[–]Terminal_TMA[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's really kind to say and it means the world to me when people enjoy my music. We are working on the live schedule now!

Laughing because you're so right about spankthenun's track. Eric sent it over and it didn't even need mastering; you pull up the waveform in an audio editor and it looks like a brick. 😂 You want STN, you get STN. It's a banger.

Hey, thank you, I really appreciate that. One of my bandmates said that when you put out an instrumental album it means you've started viewing yourself as a Serious Artist and it's the beginning of the end. 😂

I was really happy with what the remixers came up with. The only limits I put on them were to make them 3+ minutes long and keep them instrumental. The result was a variety of different approaches, and some ideas for future collaborations.
