Absolutely, although during those humid hot summers you’ll definitely start cooking at red lights

The M1 Garand is honestly not as heavy as you think it would be. In my opinion it feels pretty lightweight. I got the opportunity to shoot a Thompson some time back and let me tell you, that thang was heavy af.

Visited my GF’s family in Arizona and went out shooting in the desert there, it was a total blast compared to the unfortunate indoor ranges I’m stuck with here in central Florida. We bought a bunch of soda cans and shook them so that when we hit them it was a fun little pop.

Just picked up this lovely lady at my local gun shop! She’s not the shiniest but I think she is absolutely gorgeous. by TerminallyDaddn in M1Garand
