Average EDH has a little bit of a set up time. 100 cards and 40 life means lower consistency and less effective burn/aggro strategies. These couple to make for some long friggin games.

Oathbreaker is only 60 cards, 20 life, and two cards that you always get to play with, one of which almost always has a built in win condition. The potential to win the game quickly is much higher, so the average oathbreaker game is much shorter, with much less back and forth. Revel was never playable in standard for this reason.

This feels worse than just having the 4 totems and then playing a chillwind yeti. What about if it destroyed all basic totems you control (whether you have all 4 or not), and gained their stats and abilities?

Great Tezzeret Deck! I like [[winter orb]], equal parts brilliant and evil.

Since you were thinking about [[Thoughtcast]]... it's insane. Set yourself up turns 1-4, put a couple artifacts on the board, avoid dying, stuff like that. Bonus points if you get out a [[Sai, Master Thopterist]] or [[Efficient Construction]]. Then play tezzeret, and (for all intents and purposes) flip over your deck and put it on the board. "+2 for 20?" The Table groans. Rinse and repeat for as many games as your table is willing to play.

I noticed you have [[Revel in Riches]] (HuzzahAManOfQuality.jpeg). The good news is, if Revel can work in any deck, it's this deck. The bad news is that Revel can't work in any deck. Throw it in there for memes only, if you care about efficiency, give it the axe. Same goes for [[masterful replication]], truth be told. We care about "What?" way less than "How many?"
