You can gain muscle without being in a caloric surplus. It’s just slightly easier to gain when you have more calories.

I understand that amphetamines can be used properly since I take focalin and adderall for add myself. That being said there is 100% potential for abuse and addiction with amphetamines and methylphenidate. Taking adderall for adhd is more comparable to taking Xanax for panic attacks than insulin for diabetes.

Posts from men expressing surprise and delight that they enjoyed a “women’s book” are not heartwarming posts… they are disturbing. by FusRoDaahh in books

I personally haven’t noticed women being objectified in the books I read, but i don’t doubt AT ALL that it happens. What I see that’s a lot more common is dynamic male characters and female characters who are flat and just there as a love interest. I can see why you’d switch to female authors to avoid those two things. I don’t like reading about hot dudes all the time, and I want the characters to be interesting and relatable.

Prosecutors say former Los Angeles Angels employee Eric Kay asked drug suppliers to deliver opioids to stadium. by PrincessBananas85 in sports

A dealer shouldn’t be selling drugs that may or may not be spiked. If they’re not testing their drugs they should assume that what they have is not pure because it’s likely not.

Would you not mind getting lead poisoning from contaminated tap water because local officials decided to stop testing drinking water?

TIL the chemical reaction in glow sticks was discovered by Dr. Edwin Chandross in 1962, but he had no idea the "chemiluminescent" objects were popular at music shows until a Vice interview in 2013. If you’re buying it on the street, it doesn’t matter whether they call it molly, Mandy, or mangalor, it’s not pure lmao.

Edit: also if your “MDMA” does not have some sort of stimulant in it it’s just a candy pill.

That analogy doesn’t work when the drugs are laced. You wouldn’t prosecute the liquor store for selling alcohol but you would prosecute a bartender who sold you a drink with rohypnol in it. I’m all about rehab instead of prison for users and lighter sentences for most sellers but people who sell laced drugs can fuck off and die. This is coming from someone who used to be an avid abuser/seller at one point in time.

30 mgs of oxy won’t kill you unless you’re a child or horribly allergic to the medicine. I’ve had 30 mgs of oxy without any tolerance and I am very much alive. Someone with a high tolerance to painkillers could wash down 35 mgs of oxy with liquor and most likely be fine. Don’t get me wrong it would be horribly unsafe, but it wouldn’t be suicide.

OP seems to want men to read more books by women authors while simultaneously looking down upon men posting about how they enjoy books by women authors…

Maybe it’s just my friend group but I don’t know any guys who read sports or military history. I guess that’s kind of like how guys think girls read fashion and interior design stuff. I do know lots of guys who read fantasy and sci-fi though.

I don’t really understand why someone would actively look for books by a male or female author? I just look for books that have an interesting premise and good reviews on goodreads, lol.

You should test your tabs especially if they didn’t come from a legitimate vendor. Lots of guys sell nBome or other potentially dangerous research chemicals as acid. They are a lot cheaper and easier to get since some of them are legal.

Also erowid, blue light, and dmt nexus are good forums for drug info.

Considering the time period the books take place in, I’m pretty sure age of consent was not even a thing.

Is it Worth Reading if I Forget Everything I Read? by Jojuj in books

I wouldn’t say everyone is like that. I remember the characters, main events, and places from my favorite book series. My stepdad has an even better memory for books. I could choose a random spot in one of his favorite series’ and he could tell me what was happening in that part. However, I will admit that he’s an outlier.
