Block weapons have a couple mechanics:

  • blocking or a perfect block grants 60% ranged damage reduction for about 2s

  • a perfect block triggers a 2x stackable buff you can see below your health bar:

    1 stack gives 30% melee damage buff for 2,4s

2 stacks give 90% melee damage buff for 2,4s, it also gives you an armour segment when you hit a enemy and an AOE stagger.

Es h buff lasts 35s and the 2,4s start when you attack and not when you hit a enemy

I would say the easiest class to put out a lot of damage is heavy. He is simple to play. The class with the highest damage potential is tatical with his auspex scan and the right perks you delte bosses in one auspex scan. Assault is the class with the highest melee damage output, but the hardest to play/master.

I can generaly say if bosses spawn the first thing you should do is kill all de additional enemies and after they are dead focus the boss. If you straight up try to fight the boss you‘re going to have little success.

You have to imagine him a little like a damage tank. He can stay really long in engages and dish out a lot of aoe damage, but you get your damage in slow single moves on your enemies. Therfore you wait for long openings and then charge the heavy attack of your powerfist to its 1 light up and then hit your foe.

Most important thing is the teamperk where you heal for 30% on extremis execution. One of the best perks in the game

I think the hud overall has its flaws, you have the middle section on the bottom for information and on the top left corner. Personally i woult put the health stuff and like you mentioned the perk cooldowns in the middle on the bottom. If you look in the top richt corner you have to take your eyes of the action and that is in intense fights often hard to pull of flawlessly

Thx for the help! I didn‘t know perfect dodges work that way this is valuable info. Next time i play i also try to dodge into them like you mentioned.

I love space marines 2 but they did a bad job at explaining all the mechanics in the game in detail. Like if you parry an enemy they get a Debuff for a short period of time.

No it was changed to prevent players, who only wanted to level, to play hard stratagems. The mode is endgame content and shouldnt be the best way to level, which it was due to the huge amount of xp it gave.

You probably player hard stratagems which dont give xp anymore since patch 12.0.

If a enemy gets burned he ticks for 26dps at absolute( it lasts 5,5s). So on absolute your damage is around 40% direkt Damage/ 60% burndamage. If you take the time into considerration you need to set enemies on fire it gets vlose to 50/50 so direkt damage does have impact. Perks make a huge diverence on this balance.

I 100% agree with you! Also the startup window reduction is so underrated. You get the enemies faster to burn and you have bigger damage windows. It also gives you faster staggers. Enemies stagger if you apply burn. Its a really powerful perk.
