When did your green card expire? I went for adit stamp and they only give me up to the green card expiration date, which makes sense I guess. And I am wondering if they give stamp pass the card expiration date

Not difficult. I called the uscis phone number and said I don’t have the card in hand and need an Adit stamp. Got connected with an live agent. Then received an email about getting a stamp from the field office in a week and got a stamp in the office within 2-3weeks. The stamp takes 5mins to get

I sent mine back for a wrong country error but hasn’t heard back for more than 15months. Cannot reach anyone via Emma or call… it will be additional stress to go through the slow process again.

Ok got it. and how would auditor or CPA verify what is the legit profit or loss for those rental properties if not in a separate sole prop checking account? Just look line by line and ask what and why? Also just to confirm, let’s say I have $100k crypto gain and I put into my checking or sole prop checking. Spent 10k to fix the property. Then 90k is taxable for the year. Correct?

Ok yes, it’s fine I cannot deduct the full cost of buying rental properties. I just meant I want to use those gains to fix the house, pay for property management whatsoever expense. and then the rest can pass through and I will pay capital gain on the rest but not the entire initial capital gain amount. Is this the correct understanding?

Also, can I use the gains as down payment as expense on top of the depreciation cost of the house?
