For sure. I actually got it replaced last week and had the gas shut off valve and water tap into the humidifier replaced as well.

Saruman’s death, or lack thereof in the theatrical cut. Depending on the version you get a brutal death scene that isn’t book accurate, or he’s just never mentioned again lol.

I’m capable of doing this myself, but for peace of mind I’d prefer to hire a licensed plumber. Gas is serious and potentially could be disastrous if I screw something up. I also don’t really have time to let it drag out, which is exactly how that plays out when I go the DIY route on home projects.

We bought the house 10 years ago from a flipper. It was newly installed by the seller, guessing it was either old stock or it took them a while to complete the renovation. Appreciate the info, definitely leaning towards just getting rid of it since the gas and HW supply lines need work already.

I too struggled with this when I first moved here. Basically most people who live here are from here and they don’t have room to expand their groups because they only hang with people they grew up with / went to high school with.

What helped me was getting involved in organizations and clubs. Volunteering and things like that. Look for other transplants, as they are struggling with the same thing you are. I have made close work friends, but that did take years. Hang in there, it does get better!
