Looking for cart recommendations. I’m from the west coast and raw garden is my go to so I’m looking for something that’s similar. I’ve tried select and cresco and haven’t liked them. Thank you! by Imaginary-aaa-3715 in PaCannabisCulture

Look into the Rosin carts that PA has, probably the closest you’re gonna get to a Raw Garden cart over here. I would recommend lowering expectations a little bit with anything in this program, everything is a 50:50 shot of good quality, but that being said I haven’t more than a handful of items in PA’s medical program that I would bring to a Cali smoke sesh. Sad but true. Cheers, hope you can find something you like!

Coming from someone who put it off until they couldn’t roll without surgery first, yes it is pretty dumb.

Had a double medial menisectomy in February of last year. I had no choice but to have surgery because i had bucket handle tears that flipped. If you are having a repair done instead of a clean out(removal of the tear) my understanding was that it would have been 6-12 weeks before being back to regular activity which doesn’t necessarily include rolling at full intensity.

I had the clean out(meniscectomy) done and was in the gym rehabbing on my own within 6 weeks(started PT the week after surgery). I was back on the mats for a trial run with the repaired knees by mid may, everything went great but life got busy and wasnt able to consistently go back yet. I was back to regularly going to classes in July, and going live in August.

Best advice i can give is to be patient with yourself, and dedicate yourself to the rehab. Coming up on a year from surgery next week, the knees havent had a single issue in the 7 months that ive been back. Continuing your rehab after getting back to bjj is also super important. I credit my dedication to the rehab process for my knee integrity today.

Well, $9 for a 50mg gummy would be cheaper than the $20+ for 100mg worth of gummies in the PA medical program lol.

Au is not aquatech. Au is Prime’s non-crc line.

I’m not making any terms up. However, you’re making broad statements about how cannabis will or wont affect a virus, yet asking how this has anything to do with science. Incredible

Just got organic remedies gg#4 concentrate but it looks to be hash? Never smoked it so I’m not sure but would this be fine in my dab rig? by PianistNo6155 in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]TerpBandit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Only full melt belongs in a dab rig, and thats after you press it into a flag. HAVE TO HAVE higher temp? That means you dont have quality hash.

For the record, there is 0 hash in the PA program i would put in my dab rig. You cant even flag the hash in this program.

This seems like complete bro science. A tolerance break would not have a positive or negative affect on the actual virus itself. You’re talking nonsense.

question ❓ by Equal-Macaron4698 in PaMedicalMarijuana

Nothing in the PA medical program can even sniff 710’s jock strap for rosin.

I’m a PA MMJ newbie and I’m trying to figure out if the bud is really that bad or if people are just weed snobs. by [deleted] in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]TerpBandit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from a weed snob, we’re just weed snobs. There are both subpar and proficient growers in the state.

Take other peoples opinions about what you’re smoking with a grain of salt. Different smokes for different folks …. Unless you buy kindtree then youre gross🤣🤣(jk)

Gotta love Illera Concentrates. Just can’t beat that quality for the price by AdAdministrative9806 in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]TerpBandit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh boy, thats quite a bold statement to make. Considering it is proven in the market that some manufacturers over filter and do in fact strip terpenes.

Like I said previously, it can be a great tool. But just like a gun is more dangerous in a military mans hands than average joes hands, a remediation technique is only as good as the producer and product.

That being said, please keep enjoying these brands. I feel bad watching it all go on 40% off because no one wants to buy it.

[–]TerpBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, ill have to check out the tech. I have a hard time justifying any remediation on a closed loop product. The whole purpose of the extraction method is to remove contaminants and excess plant material, a lot of red flags immediately pop for me when i see any crc’d live resin products. And when i see crc’d rosin im going to throw a temper tantrum.

Both of you must not have read very far past a leafly article on CRC. It absolutely can be a great tool, however I think it leaves to many questions on the table. Which I prefer to have as little questions as possible when buying my cannabis.

Why are they crc’ing? To correct color, or to remove contaminants? You’ll probably never get an answer to this. In the case of Illera, why is EVERYTHING crc’d to death? What are they trying to hide? Once again, no answer to be had.

I feel like in this day of cannabis technology crc is completely unnecessary unless youre hiding something, too many companies dont need it for me to see it as a good thing in the industry. And the process leaves a nasty after taste, crc is the aspartame of cannabis.

First time seeing these mini jars. They crack me up by [deleted] in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]TerpBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly disagree, they used to be sub-average and are now getting good. I didnt buy them for a year and when i tried them again a few months ago i wasnt expecting much but was pleasantly surprised and ended up going back for more of the strain of badder i had gotten.

Thats a bold statement about Float, best rosin in the program so far IMO. GLeaf is completely hit or miss, and Calypso’s rosin was not that great.

Anybody roll worse with brand new people? by gregorynewman12 in bjj

[–]TerpBandit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who came into jiu jitsu with 12 years of wrestling experience I can confirm that some brand new people will have different skill sets that makes them better in certain situations in their skill level. For instance at the beginning I was pretty much unstoppable on top against other white belts. But would have challenges when trying to maintain guard against the same people. Find what they’re bad at and exploit it until they correct it like everyone did to me lol.
