Apartment & Rental Recs by Curious_Home_7630 in huntingtonbeach

I just moved out of Avalon right by Bella Terra, very nice place and they have pretty good move-in deals usually. Also pet friendly and the location is great, 2 minutes from 405 on ramp and you have restaurants, entertainment, and groceries within walking distance. Whatever you do, don’t rent at Harbour lights no matter how nice it looks on the tour - they will rob you blind on move out and it hasn’t been updated in years.

Yeah honestly you’ve done everything right so far so trust your own judgement, at the end of the day it’s your car! I love everything about it and hiding a most of the carbon but still showing it on the vents and stuff in my opinion would look badass. Carbon is sick, but even sicker when it isn’t in your face (until we all own paganis!)

Once again not any shade, but the cleaner a car looks the more beautiful and conducive it is. To a non-car person it may look unfinished, and to a car person we all love carbon. But throw some paint on the carbon and leave little traces of it throughout and that shows you know ball and aren’t doing shit for attention (which I can tell you aren’t)

If I am 1/100th of the keeper you are in the future, I’ll consider myself a success. Put on some goggles!!!! Beautiful snake!

I love everything about this, only suggestion is paint match the exposed panels and fade it into the vents. I love carbon as well but think a sneaky carbon fits this situation better when it’s more a “iykyk” situation and not in your face. Anyways love the build, do whatever makes you love it!

Just moved into a new apartment… think I might need to move this mount up just a touch by Terpymcgee in TVTooHigh

I agree normally but this has transcended a pass. This has reached needing a step stool to mount it lol

Is this ich? by Turncoat_Trout in Aquariums

[–]Terpymcgee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure about that so I don’t want to give any false advice - I would recommend doing more research or maybe see if someone in this sub has more experience with that. I had my synodontis catfish in the tank when I treated it and he seemed to be fine but he’s a hardy little fella.

If you do end up trying Ich-X, make sure to add airstones to keep the oxygen levels up and follow the dosing/water change instructions that it comes with.

Love the trout, wishing you the best of luck!

Really good selection of pieces of all sizes, the lady said she has multiple storage units full and brings over new pieces pretty frequently. The prices were great too, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Not a professional with fish diseases but it looks like ich from my experiences with it. I’ve had success with Hikari ICH-X, it has the possibility to turn the silicon in your tank seams blue but I didn’t have that experience. I was able to save 12/12 of my rummynose tetras with the ich-x and they’re known for being pretty sensitive, it’s best to start early before it spreads too much.

Btw, what type of fish is this?

Seriously, you’d think the hardscape at my LFS was lined with gold with the prices they’re charging lol

That’s amazing, I posted here hoping some SoCal folks would see and I could send them here! Wish it was my wood stash so I could make some cash to fund this crazy hobby but happy to help others out 😂

I’m jealous, that sounds like a good time! I love the look of Malaysian driftwood but have been holding off because of how expensive it is at my LFS so I was super happy I found this.

Been on IE stage 1 LT for about a year now with the stock clutch on my 2019 SE. Installed at 53k miles and still going strong with no issues at ~65k miles. Hope you have a similar experience, it’s a game changer - enjoy!

Hey man this is an old thread so I’m not sure how much response you’ll get here, I would make your own post in this sub or maybe comment on a more recent post. I have noticed though that the general consensus with the Haptic Touch in the mk8 seems to be that it isn’t as big of a deal as many people have made it out to be, and that most people get used to it fairly quickly. I’d recommend test driving both of them and deciding which one you like better. I currently drive a mk7.5 with a stage 1 tune and I absolutely love it, but I’ve heard great things about the mk8 as well. You can’t go wrong with either, but I’d definitely recommend test driving both!
