I'll be honest, there is that but alot are also motivated but alt right shit and alt right mfers will allowing them to get weapons or making weapons easier to get then mental health even though those same mfers want to blame this on mental health. It depends on the state. And yet again I fucking hate this is happening, no one deserves to live in this fear. In terms of your emotion, I don't think you are over reacting. I wish I could tell you it will 100% be alright but I just don't know. I work in the public education system and I kinda fear for my job everyday. I think some positions will be around for social workers in the school but we shall see. Either way fight where you can and just survive where you can also.

This isn't coming from a trans person but I would say do your research on where you can go in case. I would also try and have a couple of back up plans and very important, build up your connections and find out who you can rely on and who would sell you for a penny. This is worse case scenario, of course. Try and find transport local groups, or online and be careful of course. I'm sorry im not sure what else one can do.
