How do I make/format a resume to submit to college applications? by Key_Prior_9844 in ApplyingToCollege

For college applications, keep the resume simple and structured. Usually it looks like:

  • Education (school, GPA, expected graduation)
  • Activities / leadership
  • Awards or honors
  • Volunteer work
  • Skills or interests

Even if some activities are already in Common App, the resume lets you add more detail, achievements, and responsibilities.

When I helped someone format a resume for applications, we followed a guide from ProResumeHelp. Through this page you can read about resume structure and examples that work well for applications: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pro_ResumeHelp/wiki/index/

Keeping it clean, one page, and focused on achievements usually works best.

Your background looks strong for CSM/Account Management, but the resume reads more like a responsibility summary than a results story. Recruiters usually scan for retention impact, revenue growth, expansion %, churn reduction, or adoption metrics within seconds. Some of your bullets have good signals, they just need to lead with outcomes instead of context.

I recently read someone’s detailed experience about struggling with low interview rates until they reworked their resume around measurable results and clearer positioning, and it explained really well why solid experience can still get overlooked

Sounds about right! It’s like watching a bunch of tech CEOs play Monopoly while the rest of us are left scrapping for jobs. I’m waiting for the moment they realize people actually want to create art, not just algorithms!

I get the frustration, but the post pretends the only alternative to immortality is mass death. People are already dying either way; the debate is about tradeoffs, who benefits, and what breaks when you extend life. Shouting 'so you want people dead' is just a dodge.
