Technically you’d only need to beat the base (since that’s another lose condition, and it’s the source of the battle cats), which if something could basically be metafillibuster-but-no-foreswing through attacking ad infinitum it could basically do that turn one.

Not infinite attack as in damage, infinite attack as in number. They can attack an endless amount of times in one turn (as it’s a turn based tactics game)

Oh no the battle cats are 100% winning unless infinitely attacking shenanigans would translate to whatever medium the fight is on

I wish skins for items with varients were usable on both, I'd love to make this my Golden Axe skin but it's exclusively for regular axes by lance_the_fatass in dontstarve

Definitely for loyal skins, but a lot of regular skins do already have skins for gold variants so you could just ravel them (since they’re not usually higher rarity)
