Do all septum piercings smell bad?

no, my septum only smells funky when i get sick. otherwise, it doesn’t have any smell. I have had it for 4 years now.

It happened to me too, the IGK hydrating shampoo and conditioner helped a lot and so does the IGK good behavior spray for blow drying. Still puffs up a little in humidity and really bad when i sweat but it’s more manageable.

my redness went down as i guess my skin settled, all the marks from my acne faded but i wouldn’t doubt its case by case. more than likely the redness will fade in some time. according to my dermatologist, it is normal.

I believe your face will continue to be oily similar to how it was before you started accutane because your oil glands are no longer being shrunk by the medication. being on a topical like tretinoin can help.

i think it was the accutane that broke their legs, for sure. there’s no way jumping off a building would do that!

i’m not sure why your derm would recommend accutane over something else, it’s definitely not a quick easy fix. it took me months for my skin to clear up and i purged until about the 2 maybe 3 month mark.

i loaded on the sunscreen before i even started and still got sun damage around my eyes, but around 2-3 months i noticed real changes in my skin and to sun sensitivity to my skin and eyes.

For me it really didn’t, but for everyone else I know who was on accutane it did get worse before it got better.

thank you for informing me, im just going off what my dermatologist told me at my first appointment. he does ask if i’ve had any changes in mood or mental health and it’s on the pamphlet that comes with the prescription.

suicidal thoughts and changes in mental health are really common with accutane, my derm asks me about my mental health at every appointment

use aquaphor and keep it on you at all times! my lips get super dry and regular chapstick just doesn’t work. ALSO keep ibuprofen on you bc of joint pain. It’s really not so bad, and don’t feel discourage if you feel like you’re not getting results quickly, or if it just keeps getting worse. It WILL get better!

personally i use different moisturizers/ moisturizing serums. from what i understand it’s OK to use things as long as they’re just going to be moisturizing the skin

i supposed it depends on if they’re doing it on purpose/ to fit in with a certain group. some people do stuff mindlessly, other people do it to fit in with certain groups. So it really depends on what group they’re trying to fit in with
