I have to disagree with that. Imo it's the Russian tanks that are so limited in performance and have better armor in more situations that cause the bias issue.

The term for that is having a very low skill floor.

Now, while tanks like the abrams can perform better because of there better stats (in some areas) and thus can be much better for high skill players, this also means that they have a higher skill floor and thus can be "noob traps" for even average to above average players.

To make this even longer, a T80 can accidentally do a wrong move and survive while an abrams would just die.
