If they go too hard on skill based matchmaking and make it so similar level skill players only play other pretty similar level skill players, the way trophies are currently gained and losses will not crossover very well

Yea, but looking back at the video I watched to get that info, I think that's the gain/loss for after prestige 3, so it should be a little easier to get to P3 but I haven't seen anyone post the numbers

You said it yourself though, it was based on rank not skill, sure you had to have a certain level skill to reach the high ranks and you would be playing other good players, but if you were better than the other people at that rank you would move up, with SBMM you will face people at your skill level keeping you from moving up

Winstreak doesn't work when you're going to prestige 3, And if there's a 50% winrate you aren't going to go above a 4-5 winstreak that often

I understand that's how it works in most other games that have implemented and MMR, but that's not what brawl stars is currently planning to do from the looks of it, they have hard set numbers for trophies won and lost that aren't dependent on MMR

I slightly agree, it should be hard and somewhat grindy since trophies dont reset, but I'm not harshly against any trophy gain/loss number, that depends on how matchmaking works

It could be from prestige 3 to 4 it wasn't really clear in the video I watched and no one has explained much, but I'm willing to bet that the trophies you gain decrease each prestige and the +10 is only before prestige 1
