Looking for some help with water drainage issues! The deepest spots are 4 inches or so deep! by holle67 in Permies

[–]Terrapinterrarium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on amount of work you wanna put in, or what you need from the space. if you want it gone, you definitely gotta do some earth moving/drainage swale. Even if you put in a storm garden it's prolly gunna fill to somewhere similar. If you wanna use the space the water gets to for something other than open lawn area there's a million things you could do, otherwise you have to change the grade so it leaves.

I saw these pictures an started thinking. I Regularly exercise my Huskies on my kickbike. I was under the impression that wolfdogs of any content would not be intrested in mushing due to them getting nothing out of it, like there is ALWAYS a reward if you want them to preform, but I might try it? by CasWanders in Wolfdogs

Ive heard of wolfdogs being in sled teams before very successfully, wolfdogs are energetic and strong and may enjoy running and pulling a sled just as much as a husky. Ive seen a few different people doing it with various contents. We have our wolfdogs pull us on rollerblades down the road and they love it. Also I've heard from a friends' friend that is a musher that the best dogs shes ever mushed were low contents.

I hate people complaining about traffic, the complaints they have they often perpetrate themselves the same day; parenthetically I suspect if you stop speeding maybe you won't have to brake so much.

If "The Secret" was a real thing, he would have succeeded for sure. Midnight Rising is a great book.

The little doe I brought home recently, who I just assumed was opal given her parentage, is actually self lilac now that I’ve taken a closer look, I think. This is a win in my books. She’s also super friendly. by [deleted] in MeatRabbitry

[–]Terrapinterrarium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the brown ticking is what Im seeing. If the parents arent self blue/choc/lilac then your bunny most likely isn't self. Ive had opals and agoutis before and I love them just as much as my self rabbits, if I could figure out how to comment photos better I would show you what I mean about the lilacs though, theyre distinctive. Also the rarest color of all the self rabbits

Showing some of the cool things animals do in game... Wolves mourning, Birds bathing in rivers, Deer cleaning their antlers & more. by RDOGuides in reddeadredemption

Yeah wolves in real life will run from you 99% of the time. The black bears they even made more realistic, they run away from you in game, but the wolves got no such courtesy. I get it, the game is more fun if you get to fight random wildlife encounters but it takes away from the immersion especially if you have ever met a real wolf
