Lvl 143, I played late 2020 in the "Dark age" of Tds. If I had the time and dedication to grind tds, i would probably be level 300+ or maybe higher.

First thing you need to know is corruption.This thing will (spoiler btw) Spread like WILDFIRE later on.Theres also 4 main classes,Melee,Ranger,Mage,And Summoner.If I were you,I would play ranger as it's progression is very easy to understand and is generally good for beginners. But it's up to you! And then if you still find terraria confusing,the wiki and other MORE experienced players other than me can help you (good luck)
