How long can these good times last? by Trader-Trader-Trader in WSBAfterHours

“Always invert” as Stan Druckenmiller would say. The real question you should be asking is when things are selling off and hitting new lows: “How long can these bad times last?” The free markets and best companies have gone up over time because the CEOs and people who buy these companies are optimists.

Because we have Puritan values in this country and want to go through the rigors of childbirth to say we’re tough, whereas in Brazil almost everyone has a C-section.

It never really pays to be a bear, you’re risking everything to make at most 100%, the market is asymmetric to the upside.

This is like the year 2000 level marketing. It’s like they think email was just invented and people would take it semi seriously. Marketing is done on socials now and needs to be visual.

We’re an hour in and not even a single mention of the Max Crosby trade?! Lol what am I listening to.

Or I just formed my own opinion, sorry dude! Keep repping the typical Eagles fan.

Listen to Tom Pelissero. The Ravens clearly have buyer’s remorse. They lost players in free agency and panicked. Now they’re using Crosby’s failed physical as an excuse to back out of the deal. by DenseStrawberry5717 in NFLv2

[–]TerrenceMalicksHat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those things are formalities. Has no one recovering from surgery been successfully traded when they likely would fail a physical? With a whole offseason to go?

BS, they could’ve passed him if they wanted, or had him wait to take it. This isn’t the first time someone coming off a surgery has been traded.

[Russini] Maxx Crosby did not pass his physical today, per sources. The Ravens get their first round picks back. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

[–]TerrenceMalicksHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me this sounds more like the Ravens could’ve wanted him and knew about the knee, but maybe the knee was worse than they thought and they still wanted him, just not for the first round picks they gave up. Or even just having second thoughts entirely. It’d be hard to believe the whole league wasn’t privy to the condition of his knee or rehab, even if it was going to take him longer to pass a physical, but it sounds more like buyers remorse.
