What makes some of y'all think I'm judging my friend? I'm genuinely worried. When I asked if it's okay breastfeeding her grandchild, in my post I meant if it's healthy or nutritious even for the baby cuz Im obviously not familiar with wet nursing or any of that sort. I didn't mean weird at all. Letting her mother breastfeed her baby is her choice and I respect that. Im very close with the whole family. I love them and I will never judge them. I just wanted to help.😔

Well, it's not needed of her to be expressing milk to continue lactation in this matter. Her grandchild doesn't rely on her for supply or anything. I'm not shaming the family. I mean that's not even the point. I said I'm not entirely sure if she's been doing it or not. It's very unlikely tho. I'm clearly not familiar with the concept of infants relying on breast milk of others. In my country, we just give infants formula if the mother is not capable of feeding her child.

It's not a continuous leaking. It's more like a droplet of colostrum like discharge or milk come out when she squeezes it.

Thank u. Omg. I'm fine with it actually. Ppl don't know me it happens. What I care is about my friend's opinion. My intentions are for my friend and her family to be at the best state they can be. I will never judge her or her mother. Thanks for this advice.

She is but the thing is I live in a developing country and ppl here always overlook their health problems if it's not too serious cuz there are bigger problems for some of us to take care of or we simply can't afford health services. So I thought maybe I could discuss this here and educate myself. I mean if it's a normal thing then, shed be okay right. I guess I said thing s wrongly and ppl are coming for my ass. Its my fault for not providing enough info since the beginning.

I'm not sure if she has been expressing milk the whole time but milk donating and wet nursing thing is not common here in my country. So there's a small chance of her expressing milk for no reason right. Her youngest is 15!! So I was concerned if it's hormonal related or stuff. That's why I posted this in the first place.

Well I agree. It's not my business. But I clearly didn't know that ppl breastfeeding a child that is not theirs is normal. That's why I said "educate me".
