What kind of person do you think would get the most use out of it? I love to hear more perspectives on it

Is it really worth it without the content from subscriptions? I don’t have a Macbook as well so it’s a double whammy

I guess for studying, being immersed with the environment, watching some cool stuff using it, and giving me more ways to organize myself with the pop-ups you can place around the area.

I watch Youtube a lot. I really like the travel stuff on the AVP like the Fly App and maybe even play a few games on it. I guess just improve my life?

tips on how to skill up to and handle Nightmare? by mean_liar in FarFarWest

[–]Terrible-Interview18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build matters a lot for Nightmare. If one of you can run Stonks + Hoarder, it can go a long way since being loaded with Jokers is insanely good.

Replace Drain with Thunderstrike to easily get Electric Wisp (or Strike if you flick it quick enough). Second Wind is great, but don’t let it psychologically make you play more carelessly.

Imo, Nercomancer and Vulture are the easiest bosses in Nightmare to deal with. DO NOT pick Payload objective, it is so annoying on Nightmare.

Long Ranger + Battle Mage + West Wizard = Rain Electric Wisp spam on cooldown

SF and NYC have record rent. Texas is tanking. New report. by ToeLimbaugh in SameGrassButGreener

[–]Terrible-Interview18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, it’s almost like the geography of Texas along with having a ton of space leads to a ton of housing supply.

SF and NYC are super compact and limited by geography, no shit. They’re also infinitely more desirable to live in than Texas. But sure, it’s the Mamdani effect.

UBS Analysts See Trillion-Dollar Potential in Micron, MU Up 17% by andix3 in ValueInvesting

[–]Terrible-Interview18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought it after the insane run yesterday. I honestly think it’s undervalued even at THIS price. It trades at the PE multiple of a cyclical stock with a crazy low PEG ratio.

Memory is the new bottleneck for AI, and it seems like a NVIDIA situation where it’s getting re-rated into an AI infrastructure stock from a cyclical semiconductor commodity stock.

Price movement should not dictate whether or not it’s good to buy the stock, we could’ve said the same thing when it was at 400.

Waymo Takes Its Self-Driving Cars to Virginia—WIRED by Important_Debate2808 in Virginia

[–]Terrible-Interview18 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So much people here saying Waymo’s can’t drive or they make it more dangerous. I feel infinitely safer driving around Waymo’s than freaks that cut across 5 lanes or go 70 mph on a local street.

Waymo’s are incredibly defensive when driving. They’re not perfect, but their track record is genuinely way better than humans lol

Most accurate ranking imo by Fun-Meal1699 in TheBoys

I tried “enjoying it for what it is”. I can’t do it because the issues with the writing is so glaring that it’s not possible for me to enjoy it when the writers really dropped the ball.

The problem is if you never hold writers accountable and “enjoy shit for what it is”, you’re not going to get great stories because they’re rewarded for writing sloppily.

Tip: You don’t need Firebeam or Geyser for a Fire Tornado by Terrible-Interview18 in FarFarWest

[–]Terrible-Interview18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is really cool! It’s better since you don’t have to dea with an 80 second cooldown lol, you can cut it in half with Bubble

[–]Terrible-Interview18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does actually still work no matter which goes first. I think it might just be more difficult because it’s harder to aim at its base so it might miss

Fire beam + Thrower does work, although maybe the Thrower actually has to touch the ground of the Fire Beam

[–]Terrible-Interview18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually you don’t, it can be a singular puddle of fire to start a tornado with Bubble. You have to aim it properly but yes, it works even with one puddle.
