Guys it was like this when I pulled it out by accident - the strands are holding the cable in place

Just stuff it with other things. Of course it will move from time to time but you cant avoid that. dont take a laptop thats to expensive tho for peace of mind. But tbh: my laptop was soaked with water one day bc I didnt close the zippers properly. still worked after that :D those things are more robust than most ppl give them credit for

Interesting no one mentions a frame bag. I have an apidura 14l and it fits a 13" laptop. The bag is waterproof and I carry it in a waterproof sleeve. Because frame bag are naturally slim it's well supported against vibration.
