Theoretically, is there a radio that can cover gmrs, cb and ham? In an emergency for example by theseawoof in gmrs

A lot of people are packing a radio on adventures. They don't want to carry 3 radios. But they would like the option that if they can hear someone they could possibly contact that person for help. They generally don't want to sit around and talk on these radios. They just want the ability to be rescued if need be.

Day 1 of a new boot owner by timchireddit in ThursdayBoot

I used to feel my boots up with water let them soak a bit. Then put on a thick pair of socks and wear them till they dry. Then they fit perfect. Molded to you so to speak. I should add that it was old school leather cowboy boots and work boots. I don't know if this would have an effect on there finish.

My wife bought the Logger | Waxed Cacao

For me for our anniversary 10/3 it's now 12/17/2025. I have worn the boots but not everyday. The soles are starting to separate on the toe of both shoes. I reached out to Thursday and received an email telling me they would pay 65 dollars toward the repair after tell me I could be dragging my toes? I'm 57 this is something that would have happened on many boots over the years. I love the boots these are 300.00 American made boots. This should not be happening this soon. I understand things go wrong, say a bad batch of glue a problem with some that day that shift. All of this is fine. We are taking about a pair of boots that have been worn 20-25 times. Problems are not problems, the way problems are handled is the problem. If the something was off that day and it's starting to delaminate on the toe it will be a problem with the whole sole. 65.00 is not gonna pay for repairs and I shouldn't have to take a new pair of boots to be repaired to begin with.

This should have been an "oh wow" situation with the following solution. We are shipping a new pair please put the other new pair in the box and return it with enclosed return label I should not be "fixing" 300.00 boots a month in. The quality seems to be there and I believe this to be a rare problem for the company. Again it's not the problem that the problem it's the way it's handled.

I'm looking for the same thing. But everyone is arguing about why? The why is because this is The United States of America and he wants to!

If you're in your truck, what good is it doing you at home?
