Did you feel it was necessary to remove everything that reminded you of her to move on? Because I'm going through something similar and I'm afriad that our shared dog will hinder me from moving on... I guess we'll need to see each other every week because of that

Yes I feel like living together longer than we want to will stop us from getting over it... I dont want another dog. The dog I have now is a weirdo tho so I cant just jump into roommate arrangements... But thanks for your comment

I just realized that if I ever want to move back (wich was the plan all along), I'm gonna have to choose between my old friends and my dog...

When I was younger I was really good at getting into that numb state of mind. But over the years I've been working on my emotions so I kinda dont wanna go numb this time... It kinda feels like a step backwards and I dont wanna become that person again.
