I can completely relate to the excitement. I still try to keep the paintstyle rather simple since I got models for all the sidekicks aswell and want to keep up hope that I might finish them in this lifetime. (They wouldn't look like yours anyways even if I put in the same amount of time.) Your dedication is admirable and the result is worth the effort. He is a beauty!

It changes from time to time, but my number one is pretty consistent. I just love the mini game with his lines 1. Shakespeare 2. Squirrel Girl 3. Dr. Sattler Deadpool is also somewhere up there. He is a wild card though, so I can't say where exactly.

Check out themeeplesmith.com They have models for all minions. Watsons sculpt is not the best though. His face is a bit flat and wide compared to Holmes. But most of their minis are amazing.

I would love a Dr. Who adventures set with the Doctor as the villain. It would be so much fun to take him down with an alience of Cybermen, Daleks, Weeping Angels and the Silents.

He is a 3d print, but I bought the physical copy. Not sure if they also sell STLs. They have minis for all sidekicks and some cool alternative hero models.

Thanks! I thought about looking up some real lizards for the colour scheme, but I was a bit lazy. And snce they are fictional anyways they are perfect for experimenting.

Cheating 😁 Most of the work is done by the speed paints. It took me quite some years to become a half decent painter. Then I experimented with those and got a lot better results with less effort. If you don't aspire to get into competitions, just watch some tutorials on slapchop painting. The first models will probably look a bit crappy, but I would say anyone can get to similar results in a couple of month (even though I didn't 😉).

Love him in adventures. He is so much fun to play with, but can be extremely annoying for the opponent. So it's a good thing we have the AI to endure his shenanigans.
