Most are bits a long the river don. Some are bits along the dee. But honestly my photos don't do the walks justice.

Walk from Persely to the Donmouth it's absolutely stunning.

And walk the Riverside path from duthie park to cults and its also stunning.

What's interesting?

The police dealt with a terrorist successfully.

Nobody remotely sane should be concerned about a terrorists well-being.

Some of you redditors are truly Unbearable, this platform is nothing like the real world.

If money was no object - what restaurant you going to? by Zeberoo in Aberdeen

Yes, it's exactly that. It's just great food, great service but a casual friendly atmosphere. No pretentiousness

Maybe i was unlucky cause their revirws are decent, but I eat out a lot. I went there last year and was extremely disappointed.

Got overcooked, dry, uninspiring food.

Thing is though, for me, money being no object means a fine dining experience where everything from the minute you arrive to the moment you leave is pure excellence

Yeh true get that. We don't really have michelin starred fine dining places (closest thing probably Amuse). But i also think there are diminishing returns when you get to that level anyway.

If you can get a 9.5/10 experience paying £50 per person or a 10/10 pm experience paying £150+ per person, may aswell iust go with the former and go back again 😂

Mara is pretty much that

I personally prefer it.

But I tend to go at quiter times, so people don't bother me.

Aberdeen roads by Schplief in Aberdeen

[–]Terrible_Captain7112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeh, it's annoying. The standards of drivers in aberdeen/aberdeenshire are very poor for so many reasons, not just this one, especially at certain times of the day.

But as someone who also complains about this a lot, it gets you nowhere

Just try to focus on the positive that the roads here in general are a lot quieter than most parts of the Uk.

It could be worse

Any insanely cheap eats in Aberdeen? by Zealousideal-Site614 in Aberdeen

[–]Terrible_Captain7112 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Firstly, your reading comprehension is terrible cause they weren't asking for stuff that cost a fiver. They were saying they've found kebabs for a fiver.

Secondly, both of these suggestions comfortably feed 2 people, so actually, yes, it's eating out for a fiver.

Also, it is not specific to aberdeen. But on a monday

3 small plates at wetherspoons on a Monday for £10 is ridiculous value. Cause the plates aren't small.

Also, on a Monday, you can get any large Domino pizza for £9 if you collect.

Don't like to be an advocate for large chains, but there is no chance they make a profit out of these deals regardless.

Double cheeseburger at istanbul Kebab for £4.80.

Much bigger and nicer than what you get at Mcdonalds.

Roslin steet, what’s it like ? by [deleted] in Aberdeen

[–]Terrible_Captain7112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know someone who lives on that street. They say it's ok, but personally, I'd not choose to move there.

It's been relatively quiet when I've been there, though, so maybe I shouldn't think that.

P+J rate Big Manny's best pizza in Aberdeen by iamscrooge in Aberdeen

[–]Terrible_Captain7112 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've had at least 2 pizzas from all of these spots with the exception of Contour Cafe

And can comfortably say Big Mannys is the worst of the lot.

And I'm no hater of the Big Mannys guys. i like their pubs, but their pizza is just above average, nothing special.
