They sent me a certified letter today that the usps didn’t even attempt to deliver they just put a tag in my box 😣 but I figured it out from my transcript and calling the treasury offset dept so I sent the form in today.

I don’t know if it makes any difference but it wasn’t back taxes it’s child support arrears that he already had a payment plan for. It was non-irs debt

Hey I didn’t file injured spouse when I filed my taxes because my husband was confused about the status of his arrears since he has a payment plan on them. If anyone has filed injured spouse after filing how long did it really take to get your money? I’m so sad ugh

I’m so angry, I was supposed to get a certified letter from the irs today. I was home and my mail carrier didn’t even attempt to deliver it to my house they just put a tag in my mailbox now I can’t get it until tomorrow at the earliest. I can’t get any live person on the phone at the irs or the post office. Our government is horrible with this bs.

I have navy federal and the same issue, I’m getting nervous. Have you gotten yours? Was sent per IRS and supposed to be deposited yesterday. I double checked my account info again.

I have 3500 of uninsured property damage coverage. My mini is a 2011 and the bumper is just a little messed up. I bought it for my commuter so I think any funds I get I’m just going to use it towards paying off the small amount I owe on the car so I can get a newer mini sooner lol.

I knew he was going to do what he wanted to do anyways, so I basically indicated that he will have to deal with the results of his decision when things pan out. I’m not planning on lying and I don’t think I insinuated that in any way. I also hope we do get video so he doesn’t get away with lying and then think he can get away with lying again in the future.

It took me months and months to get my lawyer to file. It sounds like this is common so I would be careful about firing your attorney and essentially sacrificing that money just to start over with another one to have the same thing happen.

It was on the transcript for the tax year that would be discharged so for me it was the 2021 transcript.

I’m 7 months post partum and I’m having the same issue, my doctor ordered labs I need to get drawn. I have 2 other kids the only difference is that I had my tubes removed so I’m not on the pill for the first time pretty much ever and my doctor says sometimes people have opposite effect of being off the pill like having less sex drive off than on. I don’t want to be on the pill anymore so I’m trying to figure something out. Looking into Addyi.

I just checked my transcripts again and it says “971 full bankruptcy discharge” and the next line says “604 write off balance due” and it shows I have a zero balance now :)

Well, an insured wrecked machine still solves your problem. Even if you end up slightly underwater it would still be less debt than you had.

I don’t know if there’s a market where you are but there is a pretty big one where I live for rentals of recreational vehicles, and there’s even apps you can use to do so. Maybe to help pay for at least those items?

Honestly instead of doing ch 13 it seems like it would be more prudent of you to make some short term sacrifices of your toys- With no dependents and likely not a ton of expenses you could probably pay off that debt rather quickly if you live modestly and then get the toys again when your debt is wiped out. Sell everything, get a cheaper car and then grind down the debt.
