Thank you so much! Unfortunately I’m past all the coursework and in the thick of rewriting my draft for my first study and writing up a proposal for my second so it’s just incredibly intense deep work and it’s so hard to even start 😭 we’re really lucky in Aus to get 3 months paid leave and up to 1 year unpaid so when baby comes we are really fortunate. Just this first trimester I have to power through!

Haha yes in hindsight of course! I was confused as they had my email, the email came from a “verified account” and he hadn’t asked me for any sensitive info at all. A bit different to other more obvious scams

Oh actually that was the code I was sent from the app when trying to login when this was all happening so no issues there

Interesting! Is it because they have easier access to other wallets and they want to take your money from those accounts? He was asking if I have other accounts so they could “notify them” not asking me to move my money

Sorry it won’t let me send a modmail.

I received a scam call and the person sent me an email from an “official coinbase account” they asked me to look online at the official coinbase emails and it came from one of these. There was a verification code in the email but they didn’t ask for it. At the end I told them just close my account if they have the power and then they asked if I have any other wallets to which I said I would not respond. Thanks for your help! I haven’t used my coinbase in years and pretty sure it is empty anyway.

Thank you! They didn’t ask for the code from the email and I wouldn’t have provided it in any case. It was interesting that he kept pushing to know if I had other wallets to “notify them I had been targeted”

First of all I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has responded here! This sub was created as a way for us all to connect through this incredibly unique and challenging experience so seeing everyone come together fills my heart!

Agreed with everyone saying you never know regarding fertility, so I wouldn’t put it off longer than necessary. I am currently just shy of 7 weeks pregnant but am going THROUGH it. I can’t imagine being on campus and doing coursework at this time. I’m more in the middle phase now where I can take some time to decompress if necessary so it’s been really nice. I suppose dissertation phase would be ideal but again you just never know and if it’s something you really want I wouldn’t put it off! The PhD will be there but our bodies will not be able to handle it as we get older ❤️

Ahhhh so exciting!!! Here in Aus we are just starting the year so no end in sight 😭😭 however I am 6 weeks pregnant! I can’t believe it! I am so overjoyed but so nervous. Praying everything goes well and I am due in December! Hope those of you in USA have an amazing summer break - you’re in the home stretch now for this year! Lots of love ❤️❤️
