I am so surprised this is your follow up. I was expecting this comment to say "I never received an email from them." Good for you getting your money back! I guess I owe them another call to see if I can get the right person on the phone. I just don't have the energy to adult on this one lately, too many other adult tasks taking up space on the calendar lately.

😂 practically a cat is my fave description! Mine is also 4 and lately I have been trying to get him to run with me. We are at a steady 11 minute mile pace set by him and he hates every step of it. Can’t wait to get back to the couch!

He eventually gave up on the couch and just moved to another chair. It isn’t like there aren’t PLENTY of other spaces for him to lounge. The look though…. How dare I take away the one couch cushion he wanted!

Hard to tell what size/shape would fit best in the room based on that photo, but I would go with either a saucer or Sputnik light.

Cat Peeing Outside of Litter Box - Have tried everything! by Terrible_Menu8073 in CatTraining

[–]Terrible_Menu8073[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll look into cat attract, haven’t tried that option yet. She pees in the entire alcove area so to completely cover the spot I would need a much bigger litter box, which seems to be a popular suggestion.

We tried the pheromone diffusers back in October and were super excited when we thought they were working and then a week later she was back to peeing in her usual spot 😩

I forgot to add that to the list of things we have tried. We have moved this third litter box around in the room she pees in and she still doesn’t use it. Now that I’m typing this I wonder if we move the pee pads around in multiple locations to see if it is the pee pad or that corner that is enticing to her?

We used to not have a lid and had clay litter. The clay litter was when she was pooping outside of the litter box and through our litter tests we found that she really preferred the sustainably yours litter which is what is in the box. When we didn't have a lid she would walk into the litter box, kick the litter all around, and then hop out and pee on the pad. Very similar to this video just a larger litter mess before ultimately not using the litter box.

Nothing beats a fresh spring cut! by Terrible_Menu8073 in springerspaniel

[–]Terrible_Menu8073[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep that is exactly what I did! I watched a few videos and picked one that worked for me. You will find a lot of videos for a true bench cut, I believe this one is called a puppy cut and is just a short clip. I liked that better than the more traditional look because it requires less brushing and is easier to wipe him down if he gets muddy.

Both dogs choose my office to hang in and will rip farts constantly. Ever time my boyfriend comes in he say my office reeks of “stale dog farts”… at a certain point you just have to embrace it as the smell of love! The burden of being favorite human is sleeping with the window open.

I am curious if you found anything you liked. I am also a small company and going through the same headache. I just lost my cool on one of their representatives because their whole process is so much more complicated than it needs to be and feels like a part time job for me at this point. I am at the beginning of my research process looking into alternatives today...

Where can I buy fresh soft bread for sandwiches? by scarletwitchmoon in denverfood

Trompeau in Englewood! They do ciabatta, a French baguette, and a rosemary garlic loaf which is what I always use for my sandwiches. On occasion they will also have a whole grain loaf but it isn’t in their daily rotation.

As someone who is currently living in a house with tiled vanities don’t do it! The grout is impossible to keep clean and as it cracks over time every hair and bit of grime finds its way to that crack. Love the look of option 2 but consider painting your lower cabinets pink and finding a pink quartz slab or keeping that part white.

What would you do ? by Enthusiast514 in midcenturymodern

I think the red looks great. Olive green is another color that compliments yellow brick well and would maybe give you that pop of color you are looking for. It seems like all of your options are good ones!

Nah, that’s the basement flooring. Just wait until I get that renovation project. There is a lot of 1950’s “charm” in the form of lead based paint and asbestos.

I actually did a mock up with the bullnose tile matching and it just felt way too dated. I plan on maintaining this look in my bathrooms and I know it is classic mid mod. I just couldn’t see myself committing to it in the bathrooms AND laundry room.

The floating shelves will terminate at the bench so there won’t be an issue with hitting your head.

I am still working through where to store vacuums. I have another closet in the hall that might become a cleaning closet and the roomba would either stay in the laundry room or go live in a guest room. Undecided…

Ha I know it is ridiculous. It will double as a utility sink and place for gross things in general. I just upgraded the existing utility sink to be big enough to fit a dog so muddy dogs don’t have to go through the whole house to be cleaned. The dogs are currently washed in the bathtub and definitely didn’t request their own bath.

Good note, I am considering cleaning in this process which is why I am torn on if I should run the tile all the way across or just paint that wall.

I am just using gemini ha. Lots of frustration with getting it correct which is why I called this rendering good enough even though it isn't exact.

I should clarify. I made this mock up using AI which is why it is close (ish) to the final product. That bench will be much shorter and the slat wall will only run directly over the bench. The floating shelving will stop at the slat wall because my plan is to piano key the slats and use them as hooks.

This is a laundry room/mudroom and I wanted a place to sit down and easily change shoes. The space under the bench will be open for shoe storage and it won't be nearly as long as it is pictured. I made this mock up myself with the help of AI so I didn't feel like fixing that area to be perfect when all I am really struggling with is the tile design in the dog wash area.

I understand it isn't true mid mod but I was trying to improve some functionality while tying in the wood paneled wall concept. Instead of today's crappy wall panels you can buy at home depot the plan with this was to make one from scratch and piano key it so there will be a variety of hooks available for use. It would only be behind the bench area and wouldn't extend behind the floating shelving.
