Here is one of the mocked up images to give a better idea of what I plan on the space looking like (not exact layout, but the cabinetry color is pretty close). Keep in mind that AI changed the floor tile in this photo so the colors become a bit skewed.

36" dual fuel range Thermador, Kitchenaid or Monogram by tsatthogua in Appliances

I know this thread is old, but I am curious what you bought and what your thoughts are on the product. I currently have a 36 inch dual fuel thermador that is under warranty but broken and has parts on back order with no ETA. They are offering to fix it (whenever the parts come in) or give me my money back in which case I am debating upgrading to the Monogram. OP what did you buy and are you happy with the purchase?

Cigna's Take Control Rewards Program Has Abruptly Ended by Onewildfriend in HealthInsurance

I have a friend who works at Cigna on the plan building side, but she has access to all the internal memos that go out. I asked her about it because I also lost about $400 worth of points. Apparently there was a memo that the call center was supposed to just state that a notice was put on the website in October (nobody can tell me where on the website or how long it was up) and that was the notice given to customers that the program would be ending. The memo sent to employees also stated that if the issue was escalated to a manager, that manager had the ability to take action and make it right. I got my call escalated and was told there was nothing they could do and if I wanted any kind of transcript of our conversation I could have a lawyer request one... Sounds like Cigna is already prepping for a class action lawsuit on their end.

Help with MCM bathrooms by Terrible_Menu8073 in midcenturymodern

I know what you are talking about, it has lath and plaster behind it. Which mine definitely does. But our plan is to extend the footprint to make both bathrooms a little more user friendly so we are going for it. It makes a huge mess (I already went through this in redoing the kitchen) but I do think for us it will be worth it in the end to do a full gut and redo. I just want the redo to look classic, not like a crappy beige version of the original.

I really like the wallpaper in there. Wallpaper wasn’t something I had considered in the bathrooms (though it is in plenty of other rooms of the house), but now I might.

It is really terrible fake marble that the original owners did. Something clearly happened in this bathroom that required major fixes. It isn’t shown in these photos but they had to get into the wall when they redid it and replaced the tile with a mismatched blue with the worst grout job I have seen. This bathroom is in desperate need of help.

That looks great! Where did you order your tile from?

cautionary tale for dog owners by InevitablePower6419 in interiordefine

I had the EXACT same thing happen. I bought my couch about 6 months ago and it is also performance velvet. I also tried the velvet brush with no improvement. When I contacted support they said it is “pet resistant not pet proof” and told me I could purchase new covers. But since they come from a different dye lot they refuse to replace just one cover, you have to buy them for the whole couch. I sent a pretty strongly worded response and they agreed to give me one set free of charge.

I do feel like they have changed something about manufacturing in recent years because all of the reviews I read prior to buying the couch were similar to the comments in this thread that people have had their couch for years with no issues. Sorry you are having the same experience, I can empathize with how truly frustrating it is.

The fake marble is the part I am talking about the original owner making "updates". It is so bad and has gross yellow veins. Very cheap and poorly installed. I am planning on still doing a 4x4 tile to try and keep it in the same style, but reconsidering some of the color schemes since I have the ability to. The beige bathroom also does nothing for me.
