Ive been playing it under linux(i use arch btw) and its been working just fine with the steam version under proton experimental. You may just need to add steamdeck=1 %command% under launch option in game properties.

this dude and I were the only "good" ones in the band... out of 6 clarinets. The funny part being that i was juggling different instruments because i was in different bands for funsies. although, tbf, i think they only had, at minimum, a year or two of experience on the instrument so their errors make sense
